Young adults invited to join the Digipanel

24.9.2026 | A digipanel will be organized in the Kotka region in October to gather user experiences and development ideas from young adults regarding digital services intended for people who have moved to the region from abroad.

The digipanel is a moderated online discussion conducted under pseudonyms. The discussion languages are English and Finnish.

The digipanel offers participants an opportunity to share their experiences, give feedback on how services work, and suggest improvements. A summary of the discussions will be prepared and used to support further service development.

The October digipanel will focus particularly on the International Kotka-Hamina website, which brings together information and services for international residents in the region.

The digipanel is intended for young adults aged 18 to 29 with an immigrant background. The panel will be open from 19 to 30 October 2026. Registered participants will receive an invitation link and instructions by email closer to the implementation date. After the panel, participants will receive a certificate of participation.

The digipanel is organized jointly by the Wellbeing and Employment Services Division of the City of Kotka and the Kareva – Enhancing International Recruitment Readiness project. The project is co-funded by the European Union (ESR+).

What is the digipanel?

Digipanel, a participation platform maintained by the Ministry of Justice, helps children and young people make their voices heard on issues that affect society.
