Kotka – City by the Sea

The city of Kotka is located on the coast of the Eastern Gulf of Finland, little more than an hour´s drive from Helsinki on the E18 highway. The maritime, natural surrounding of the city offer opportunities for various outdoor activities, including sailing, shooting the rapids, fishing, and nature excursions and archipelago trips. These, complemented by an abundance of cultural attractions,  guarantee that there are lots to see and do in the city even during longer stays.
